The INTER DENOMINATIONAL CHRISTIAN CHURCH (IDCC) is dedicated to safeguarding the well-being of worshipers, visitors, contractors, and the property of the church. In accordance with state laws and regulations, a Fire Safety Policy will be enacted.
IDCC is committed to ensuring the safety of all individuals present within the church premises, including congregation members, contractors, visitors, and others. This extends to the church building, surrounding areas, and associated structures. Detailed responsibilities related to safety matters and the specific protocols for policy implementation can be found in the Fire and Safety Manual.
To uphold the effectiveness of the Fire Safety Policy, regular updates will be conducted, especially concerning changes in the church’s facilities or activities. A systematic review process will ensure that the policy remains relevant and efficient. In the interest of maintaining ongoing awareness of health and safety considerations, discussions related to safety and security will be a standard agenda item during meetings of the Fire and Safety Committee, its sub-committees (if any), and member church committees.
Continuous consultation will take place with service contractors, as well as representatives of the congregation, to gather input on matters of safety and security. This collaborative approach will enable the provision of necessary information, training, and supervision, catering to the needs of all involved parties.
